Coming to Jesus Christ
If you feel far from God, are searching for purpose, or desire a fresh beginning, the Gospel points us to Jesus Christ.
Scripture teaches that all of us have sinned and fallen short of God's glory, but God offers eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Salvation is not earned by good works, religious activity, or simply repeating certain words. We are called to repent, believe in Jesus Christ, confess Him as Lord, and place our faith in what He has done for us.
This prayer can help you express that surrender to God sincerely from your heart.

Heavenly Father, I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Today, I acknowledge that I need You and that I cannot save myself.
Lord, I recognize that I have sinned and fallen short of Your perfect standard.
Your Word says in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Father, I humble myself before You and ask for Your mercy and forgiveness.
I repent of my sins. Help me turn away from what separates me from You and begin walking in obedience to Your Word.
Your Word says in Acts 3:19, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.”
Today, I turn toward You and surrender my life into Your hands.
Father, I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son.
I believe that He died for my sins, was buried, and rose again.
Your Word says in Romans 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Today, I confess Jesus Christ as Lord.
Jesus, thank You for giving Your life for me and making a way for me to be forgiven and reconciled to God.
Your Word says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Lord, I place my faith in You.
Wash me, forgive me, and cleanse me from unrighteousness.
Your Word says in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Father, renew my heart and transform my mind.
Help me leave behind the life that separated me from You and begin living according to Your truth.
Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
Father, I surrender my past, present, and future to You.
Lead my decisions. Guide my steps. Correct me when I am wrong. Teach me how to live according to Your Word.
Help me grow in prayer, Scripture, obedience, faith, love, humility, and holiness.
Holy Spirit, guide me into truth and help me grow in my relationship with Jesus Christ.
Give me strength to turn away from temptation and courage to obey You even when obedience is difficult.
Surround me with mature believers who will encourage me, teach me, pray with me, and help me grow.
Lead me to a Bible-believing church where Jesus Christ is honored, Scripture is taught faithfully, and I can grow in discipleship.
Thank You, Lord, for Your love, mercy, grace, forgiveness, and the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Beginning a walk with Jesus does not mean you instantly know everything or never face temptation again.

When you make a mistake, do not use it as a reason to walk away from God. Confess it, learn from it, receive correction, and continue following Christ.
Christianity is not about pretending to be perfect. It is about belonging to Jesus and allowing Him to continually change the way we live.
