At Avery Raquel Ministries, home of Disciples of Christ Ministries, we believe generosity should be guided by compassion, wisdom, stewardship, accountability, and integrity.
Our desire is to support people, communities, organizations, and causes in ways that honor God while helping ensure ministry resources are used responsibly.
All donation and financial assistance requests are reviewed according to the standards outlined below.
Our Giving Principles
We do not make financial decisions based solely on emotion, urgency, public pressure, or personal appeals.
We seek to give prayerfully, responsibly, and with discernment. Our goal is to make a meaningful impact while protecting ministry resources and maintaining proper accountability.
Each request may be evaluated based on available funds, legitimacy, documented need, mission alignment, accountability, risk, and the ministry's current priorities.

Donation Request Standards
1. No Direct Individual Giving
We generally do not send ministry funds directly to private individuals. Preference is given to established organizations, community programs, churches, nonprofits, registered charities, or accountable projects.
2. Verified Legal Status
Organizations may be required to provide proof of registration, incorporation, charitable status, nonprofit status, or other documentation confirming legitimacy.
3. Financial Transparency
Organizations should be able to explain clearly how requested funds will be used and may be asked to provide budgets, invoices, receipts, financial statements, or other supporting documentation.
4. Proven or Reasonably Demonstrated Impact
Preference may be given to organizations or projects that can demonstrate meaningful community benefit, measurable outcomes, or a clear plan for how assistance will create positive impact.
5. Leadership and Governance
Organizations should have appropriate leadership, oversight, accountability, or governance structures in place.
6. Safe and Traceable Payment Channels
All approved financial transactions must use secure, lawful, and reasonably traceable payment methods.
7. Legal and Compliance Review
We reserve the right to decline any request involving concerns related to fraud, sanctions, financial crime, legal restrictions, regulatory compliance, or other financial risks.
8. Mission and Values Alignment
Requests should be consistent with the faith-based mission, biblical values, outreach priorities, and charitable purposes of Avery Raquel Ministries, home of Disciples of Christ Ministries.
9. Documentation May Be Required
Depending on the request, supporting documents may be required before a decision is made.
10. No Pressure or Manipulative Appeals
Requests involving threats, guilt, manipulation, repeated pressure, false urgency, or attempts to bypass the review process may be declined.
11. Cultural and Ethical Respect
We seek to support efforts that respect the dignity, safety, culture, and well-being of the people and communities being served.
12. Risk Awareness
Requests involving higher-risk regions or circumstances may require additional verification, trusted local partners, or alternative methods of delivering assistance.
13. Prayer and Discernment
Requests are considered prayerfully. Urgency alone does not determine whether a request will be approved.
14. Giving Limits
Approval depends on available ministry resources, existing commitments, outreach priorities, and the amount of assistance already allocated during the relevant period.
15. Long-Term Partnerships May Be Preferred
Where appropriate, preference may be given to trusted organizations and partners with established accountability, consistent communication, and demonstrated impact.
How to Submit a Donation Request
Requests should include enough information for the ministry to understand the organization, project, need, and proposed use of funds.
Please include:
- Full organization, ministry, or project name
- Country and location
- Purpose of the request
- Amount requested
- Explanation of how the funds will be used
- Contact information
- Relevant website or social media information, if available
- Supporting documentation such as registration records, proposals, invoices, budgets, or related materials
Additional information may be requested before a final decision is made.

Avery Raquel Ministries, home of Disciples of Christ Ministries, reserves the right to approve, decline, postpone, reduce, modify, or request additional information concerning any donation request.
We are not obligated to provide an explanation for every decision, and previous assistance does not guarantee future assistance.
Availability of funds, ministry priorities, verification results, risk considerations, legal requirements, and other factors may affect the final decision.
Accuracy and Fraud Prevention
Information submitted to the ministry should be truthful, complete, and accurate.
Requests containing false information, altered documents, misleading claims, impersonation, suspected fraud, or attempts to conceal the true use of funds may be immediately declined.
The ministry may discontinue communication regarding requests that raise serious concerns about legitimacy or safety.
