Prayer for a Missing Loved One

Powerful prayer to pray if you have a loved one or friend that is missing.

Today I come before God with a heavy heart for every child, teenager, and adult who is missing. I lift them up to You, Lord, trusting that nothing is hidden from Your eyes and that You see exactly where they are.

Your Word says in Proverbs 15:3, “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.” Lord, I trust that You are aware of every situation and every place they may be.

I ask for Your protection over their lives right now. Cover them and keep them from harm, danger, and fear. Let Your angels surround them wherever they are.

Your Word says in Psalm 91:11, “For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” Lord, I ask for Your divine protection and care over their lives.

If they are afraid, comfort them. If they are confused, give them peace. If they are lost or unsure of where they are, guide them and lead them toward safety.

Your Word says in Psalm 23:1–3 that You are our Shepherd who leads us beside still waters and restores the soul. Lord, I ask You to bring calm, guidance, and restoration wherever they are.

Father, I also pray for those who may be involved in their situation or holding information about them. I ask You to work in hearts and minds, bringing understanding, conviction, and a willingness to do what is right.

Your Word says in Proverbs 21:1 that the heart of the king is in Your hand, and You can direct it as You will. Lord, I ask You to guide situations toward truth and resolution.

I pray especially for families—parents, siblings, and friends—who are waiting, grieving, and hoping for answers. Strengthen them and surround them with Your peace during this difficult time.

Your Word says in Psalm 34:18 that You are close to the brokenhearted. Be near to every family walking through uncertainty and pain.

Lord, give them peace that steadies their hearts while they wait for answers. Your Word says in John 14:27 that You give peace not as the world gives. Let that peace guard their hearts and minds.

Lord, I trust that You are a God who sees, knows, and cares. I ask for guidance, clarity, and resolution in every missing person situation.

Help bring understanding, healing, and hope in every circumstance.
