Celebrating Another Year of God's Faithfulness
A birthday is a special reminder of God's mercy, faithfulness, and the gift of life. Each new year gives us an opportunity to reflect on how God has carried us, taught us, protected us, and helped us grow.
Life is not measured only by the number of years we have lived, but also by the ways we grow in wisdom, deepen our relationship with God, serve others, and walk in the purpose He has placed before us.
A birthday prayer is an opportunity to thank God for the past, acknowledge His blessings in the present, and surrender the year ahead into His hands.

Heavenly Father, I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving.
Thank You for allowing me to see another year of life. Every breath I take is a reminder of Your mercy, grace, protection, and love.
Your Word says in Lamentations 3:22-23, “It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
Father, I thank You for being faithful through every season of my life, through every challenge, every lesson, every victory, every disappointment, and every moment when Your hand carried me.
Lord, thank You for the gift of another year.
Your Word teaches me in Psalm 90:12, “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” Help me use my time wisely, honor You with my life, and become more intentional about the purpose You have given me.
As I enter this new year, I surrender my plans, dreams, goals, desires, relationships, responsibilities, and future into Your hands.
Your Word says in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Father, direct my path. Lead me toward what is right for me and away from anything that would pull me outside Your will.
Give me wisdom for every decision, patience when I need to wait, courage when I need to move, and discernment when something is not meant for me.
Father, I pray for Your protection over my life. Watch over me, my family, my home, my health, my responsibilities, and everything connected to me.
Keep me from unnecessary harm, dangerous decisions, unhealthy relationships, and distractions that would interfere with my spiritual growth.
Lord, use my life for Your glory. Help me be a light to others, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, encourage those who are hurting, show compassion, and lead people toward You through the way I live.
Your Word declares in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Help me trust Your plans even when they are different from my own. Keep me from becoming discouraged by delays, closed doors, or unexpected changes.
Bless this new year with wisdom, peace, joy, spiritual growth, strength, good health, favor, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to fulfill the purpose You have placed inside of me.
Help me become more like Christ in the year ahead.
Teach me to love better, forgive quicker, pray more faithfully, obey You more completely, and remain humble when You bless me.
Father, let this year not simply be another year added to my age. Let it be a year of growth, maturity, obedience, wisdom, and a deeper relationship with You.
Thank You for another year of life, another opportunity to serve You, and another chance to become more like Jesus Christ.

Maybe the previous year included mistakes, disappointment, grief, delays, or situations you wish had happened differently. A birthday can become a moment to thank God for what He taught you and move into the new year with greater wisdom.
