Prayer Before Bed for Peace, Protection, and Rest in God
Ending the Day in God’s Presence
The end of the day is a time to surrender our worries, reflect on God’s faithfulness, and rest in His presence. Before we sleep, we can bring our hearts before Him, receive His forgiveness, and trust Him to watch over us through the night.
This prayer is for anyone seeking peaceful sleep, spiritual renewal, forgiveness, and the comfort of knowing that God is near.

Prayer for Peaceful Sleep and God’s Protection
Heavenly Father,
I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ at the end of this day. Thank You for carrying me through every moment and for Your faithfulness that never fails.
Lord, I humble myself before You and ask You to forgive me for my sins, whether known or unknown. Cleanse my heart and help me walk closer with You each day.
Your Word says in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Father, I receive Your forgiveness and thank You for Your mercy.
Lord, I surrender every worry, burden, and thought from today into Your hands. Calm my mind, quiet my heart, and fill me with Your peace as I prepare to rest.
Your Word says in Psalm 4:8 that I can lie down in peace because You make me dwell in safety. Father, watch over me throughout this night and surround me with Your care.
Lord, protect me, my family, and my home. Let Your presence bring peace and comfort as we sleep. Guard our hearts and minds, and help us rest without fear.
Father, if You choose to speak, guide, encourage, or teach me according to Your perfect will. Give me wisdom and understanding, and help me remain attentive to Your voice.
Restore my body, refresh my mind, and renew my spirit as I sleep. Prepare me for the day ahead so that I may continue walking in Your purpose.
Thank You for Your protection, Your love, and Your constant presence. I place this night into Your hands and trust You completely.
In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.
